Let me tell few things about the basic requirement for choosing a job as game testers :
Firstly major part of the job is to find out bugs and report them to the developers.
Hence there is a prescribed format in writing a bug :
we should majorly concentrate on 6 parts such as :
1. SUMMARY
2. DESCRIPTION
3. STEPS TO REPRODUCE
4. EXPECTED RESULT
5. TIMES REPRODUCED
6. NOTE
Now let us go in detail about these parts :
SUMMARY : What is the Bug
DESCRIPTION: Explaining little more clearly for (1.)SUMMARY
STEPS TO REPRODUCE: (This is major & crucial part of the job )
- Boot the game
- Load this map in following level of the game
- Proceed to so and so location in the level
- Perform some task
- Observe that there is some ........in the game
EXPECTED RESULT: There should be no such....... in the game
TIMES REPRODUCED: 2/3 (Issue is seen two out of three times)
